Hemi owners have requested a Reische thermostat for their engines so we now offer the only 170° thermostat that is modified by hand and fitted specifically for your Dodge, Chrysler or Ram Hemi. 100% made in the USA.

Whether you are using an aftermarket radiator or not, this thermostat will provide the best possible heat dissipation from your setup and even deliver better overall performance than our competitor's 160° thermostats.  Reische believes the 170° opening temp is the ideal balance for high performance engines, providing high flow to your radiator by 180 temps while still providing good all season performance.  With proper fan settings your coolant temps will stay in the mid-180 to low 190s, giving those running high levels of timing and/or boost added protection against engine-damaging detonation as well as maximum hp.

A low coolant temp CEL code (P0128) may appear if your engine is still running on the factory tune with our (or any low temp) thermostat installed.  The CEL may cycle off (and back on) but typically there will be no other detrimental effects, however a Diablosport or custom tune should resolve this issue.
